Whether you’re a seasoned reader or just looking to start a new hobby\, our book club offers a great opportunity to share your thoughts\, discover new authors\, and meet fellow literature enthusiasts. \nThis month we’ll be discussing the books Pictures of Hollis Woods by Patricia Reilly Giff and Counting by 7s by Holly Goldberg Sloan. \nIn Pictures of Hollis Woods\, a troublesome twelve-year-old orphan\, staying with an elderly artist who needs her\, remembers the only other time she was happy in a foster home\, with a family that truly seemed to care about her. \nIn Counting by 7s\, twelve-year-old genius and outsider Willow Chance must figure out how to connect with other people and find a surrogate family for herself after her parents are killed in a car accident. \nBooks will be available for checkout at the library.
