DESCRIPTION:Join us for this season’s Preschool Story Times for books\, songs\, crafts\, and more! This season\, we will be reading books all about Farming! We will learn about farm animals\, equipment\, types of farms\, and farm products in our homes! SUMMARY:Chess Club
DESCRIPTION:Whether you are a master or a beginner\, whether 5 or 50\, all are welcome at chess club! Join instructor Jake Peters every Thursday\, where he will provide opportunities to play chess\, offer individual and group coaching\, and demonstrate the lessons and exercises he has developed throughout his years of coaching. If you want to learn\, grow at\, or simply play chess\, please join us! \nJake Peters is a tournament-level chess player who has been playing chess for over a decade and teaching the game for two years. He is a 2014 graduate of MOC-Floyd Valley High School and is currently attending college to be a secondary English teacher. Jake also volunteers his time teaching chess at the Minnehaha County Juvenile Detention Center in Sioux Falls\, SD and the Le Mars Community Middle School.  \n  \nNote: For children 8 and under\, a parent or guardian who is 14 years or older must remain in the building for the duration of the program the child is attending.  See the full Unattended/Safe Child Policy here.
